Wow! How amazing is our God to make such diverse landscapes all in one neat little place called the United States of America. This desert (much different from our own) was part of the view on the drive to San Diego. What you cannot see are the Dune Buggy's driving all around this sandy desert, um, place. I couldn't believe all the people in carts, 4 wheelers, buggy's etc. driving around. Looked like fun? Just not sure I would drive there to do that?!?!
What did the kids think of this trip? Well, as usual, our smiley, cutsie baby, was, well smiley and cute.
The man was trying to catch a snooze with his camo bear so he would be ready for whatever fun things San Diego had to offer.
And the sweet co-pilot took a moment from her busy schedule to flash a smile to me.
Ah, yes, the wonderful , beautiful, freezing, very, very, very cold beach. But we still had a blast.
J having a near miss with a wave. Note the terrified look on her face. She thought she was stuck on a rock as a wave rolled in and almost knocked her over.
Me laughing? Okay, maybe a little bit funny that J was running for her life (remember I was right there with her and was running for my life as well.)
Yep, there's that cutsie, smiley baby.
We were able to go to the Naval Base. Wow! Ships beyond my capacity to understand.
The kids enjoyed the drive in a big, charter bus.
We were able to step into one of the carrier ships. WOW!!! Did I mention WOW???!?!?
The kids having a little down time after lots of busy times
Just hanging out pre-game time.
