We also had a very generous friend allow us to spend a week in her condo on the beach in Port Aransas, TX. Wow! What an amazing beach. So clean and clear, blue water. Not too crowded, even in the middle of the summer. And the water was absolutely wonderful. Perfect temperature. It was a wonderful week. We were able to stop here on our way back home from the farm, so it made a nice break from the long drive.
A ferry ride took us to the island.
The walk to the beach was an exciting one.
The daddy decided to let the kids feed the seagulls. I took the baby far, far away as I thought they might carry him off.
A man fishing near us caught a sting ray. What an experience. We all got to touch it.
And one of our favorite activities was looking in the sand for these sand shrimp.
