Ain't they so cute all cuddled up on the couch? I truly don't know why they are soooo worried about us possibly having more kids. I mean look at all that space. There is room for someone in Poppy's lap. K has free space in front of him. Seriously, we aren't even CLOSE to maxed out yet. *hahahahaha* (Okay, sis, pick mom up out of the floor now and make sure she didn't hurt her head).

Poppy and J mowing the yard. She does most of it by herself, but he helps her get started around the fence and more difficult turns.

Ever wonder what it is like to be a baby bird? Grandmommy (or as Baby J calls her, "B-MA") got a first hand experience of it. What started out as a nice gesture from Baby J turned into a game in which "B-MA" was not given a choice as to whether she WANTED the food or not, but how quickly she could consume it.

And then K had to join in.

Storm blew down lots of stuff all around. We were actually quite fortunate and only had mild issues to deal with. Here JP confidently supervises her brother's work. We had friends who were less fortunate and had trees in the teens to cut down. I think our people ended up hauling off three trailer loads of brush from around the farm.

Lots of terrific helpers.

Here is our home away from home. We think it is quite special and it serves us really well. Thanks to Poppy, Reed, Grandmommy, and Phyllis (and all the others who put in lots of time building us a summer cabin *HA*).

Cow all loaded up and ready to go to market. This was an old cow that had to go. The kids helped get her loaded and then rode in the truck to the stock barn.

This is an amazing plant. Our family calls it a "Nicodemus" flower. It is some type of primrose. It blooms every evening in the summer at precisely 9:00 (give or take a minute). Each bloom opens in seconds to reveal these lovely yellow flowers. We have video, and some day, when I figure out how to put video on, I will upload that as well. Within 10 - 15 minutes, hundreds of these blooms have opened. We gather our chairs round and watch the "show". The kids love to predict which bloom will open next. It really is a great testament to God's amazing creativity.

Oh yes! I see PLENTY more room for babies! You are forgetting that the great thing about laps is they consist of TWO legs, so each grandparent lap can fit two kiddos comfortably. . . ;)
(Now your mom is going to forbid you from talking to me, isn't she? LOL)
