Creek time is a fun time! We did this LOTS!!!!!

Helping move the cows is always a thrill. Poppy was opening the gate to move the cows from one pasture to another (you have to do that so the fields have time to grow back after the cows have eaten most of the grass. In the summer time our cows are entirely pasture fed. Hay from other fields is harvested to be kept for winter feeding time).

Here the cows come, ready for a new field! They actually love this time since they know it means better pasture across the road. In this case, the grass actually IS greener on the other side of the fence!

Juju spent the night with us at the cabin and was reading to the kids before bedtime. She is a natural, don't ya think?

And here is that handsome cousin with my critters all snuggled up on the hammock.

Aunt J and Baby J checking a text, I think. I'm pretty sure it was for Baby J. *grin*

Great Aunt Margaret had refinished this antique chest which belonged to a great, great, great, great (I think it was four) grandparent. She thought it would be cool to have the young'uns pose for a picture with such an old piece of furniture.
