Spring is Here!

These beautiful flowers are in our backyard. This little gem is a Mexican Primrose. It is supposed to be a ground cover, but somehow in our yard, it is a teeny little plant. Pretty blooms however.

This volunteer prickly pear cactus (named after it's pear shape and it's prickliness *grin*) came up in a precarious place, but it certainly has gorgeous blooms.
The native palo verde tree is also wonderful in the spring (until it's blooms start to fall...then it is a MESS). This one is in our neighbor's back yard.
My little man fell asleep the other evening in his daddy's big chair. Hey! Like Father like Son!!
I left him there thinking he would wake up after a few minutes. The other kids were watching TV, so they were upset that something this small got the chair all to himself. As fate would have it, since I thought he would wake up soon, he slept there for a few hours until I finally transferred him to his own bed. Too Cute!
Baby J LOVES "her baby" (as she tells anyone who will listen). She loves to hold him, kiss him, and in general, do anything near him.
Our beautiful girls were enjoying their morning together.
Silly girls.
With the weather so grand, we spend as much time as possible outside these days. Here are some of our fun times in the yard...playing, schooling, and just being OUT!
Baby J laid her first Easter Egg in this picture. hehehehe
This was mid sneeze. AAAHHHCHHHOOOOO!!!
I think she was practicing her ballroom dance. That or doing tai chi.
Inspecting the Easter eggs she laid.
Baby J did not want to be inside. Outside is WAY tooooo much fun! (I happened the have the camera. I don't generally make my kids cry just to get cute photos of them). One of J's many tricks. K's version of it."Whew! All this play makes me tired!!!" ( I had been holding Baby K and had to help one of the other kids. When I laid him in the chair, he passed out and stayed that way until time to go inside). Baby J just enjoys life. She is so fun to be around. And she has life pretty good...a big sis who truly enjoys playing with her, a big "bubby" who shares all his cool toys (well, most of them), and "her baby" who she can love on anytime. This was a monumental moment. My big man does not like his feet to be more than 3 inches off the ground. As a result, he refused to learn to swing by himself. One day, J decided to help him. After some patient tips and assistance, he was swinging in no time...thanks to his big sis! This was J's creative way to be able to swing all together.
Back inside for some rest. Baby K's new toy (which once belonged to Big Sis, then Big Bubby, then Baby J), was lots of fun for everyone.
Cute loves and kisses!!!
Big Bubby watching over his Baby Bubby!
Baby J and Baby K. She is very good at holding him.

This little horse is well loved. Baby J "kisses" her "neigh" when she is tired.
K was having fun playing with his frog.
Awww! Sweet love!
Yep! This is one happy mama. I have LOTS for which to be thankful.
This is one of the daddy's favorite. The best part is that she had no pants on. I suppose those hiring for Tuba gigs aren't too picky! hehehe The grin seals the deal!!!!

Uncle S says the sneeze pic looks like Calvin of Calvin and Hobbes.
Calvin likes dinos as well.
