What a pretty birdie!!!!
Our neighborhood is low key and a nice one to walk around for the trick or treating event. The kids really enjoy the candy (maybe a bit too much). Grandmommy found some really, really cute costumes (on sale of course) for the babes and hand delivered them when they visited a few weeks ago.
Baby J is truly a little fairy, and this captures her delightful spirit.
Here is my little army man. He was ready for war. (Thanks Grandmommy, you've created a monster. *grin*)
And here is our beautiful Indian Princess. Complete with hand-made native American jewelry. The costumes were lots of fun. The candy was unbelievable. Boy, is our neighborhood generous. Perhaps a bit too generous. The kids don't think so, but the mother is having concerns about teeth rot and stomach aches. I seriously think there may be enough candy to last us until next fall. (Well, not if Grandmommy gets near the chocolate, but since she is back on the farm, I don't think we have to worry...she is a chocoholic for anyone who doesn't know).
And the mama dressed as a big ol' pregnant lady. The costume was very lifelike and believable.
And the daddy dressed as the best daddy in the world who loves his children very much. He is truly a terrific dad who gives so much time to his babes and includes them in every aspect of his world. He even invites us to dinner with his out-of-town tuba artists when life is very hectic and he hasn't had the opportunity to spend much time with us. (Yes, that is my "thanks for being a wonderful hubby and dad" honey. We love you!)
