Let Christmas 2009 begin

J is CRAZY about horses and has been pretending horse things for quite some time now. We read Pony Pals, play pony pals, act out pony pals, watch Felicity (also a horse lover), and do just about anything one can think of to have a pony without having a pony.

FINALLY, the kids received their very first pony...okay, okay, so it is made out of a tire. It is AWESOME and the kids love it. Grandmommy and Poppy sent them their Christmas gift early so they could get plenty of riding time in. J had been sitting sideways on her swing in order to pretend it was a pony. She would tie a jump rope around the "pony" to have reins. Well, now she can just sit on her pony and pull on her mane. She named the pony Acorn (from pony pals) and K added Buzz (as in Buzz Light Year from Toy Story), so we have Acorn Buzz Thomas. I have a feeling we will be outside a lot in the next few days.
And baby J can't wait to have her turn on Acorn. (Check out the hat Miss Shelly *grin*)
