Thanks to a terrific Eric Carle book, Pancakes, Pancakes we have learned how to make pancakes the "old fashioned" way. The kids now know what goes into the pancake process from harvesting the wheat, taking it to the miller to be ground into flour, collecting eggs, milking the cow, churning the butter, and more. We "pretended" all of the above, but got into the "real" thing when it came to the cooking. Here the kids are, with the help of dad, over the hot "fire" for which they had cut the firewood.
J flipping the goods. K inspecting the remaining batter to make certain he will get his turn.
So he did finally get his turn. *grin*
Zoo fun!!
Say cheese! Or elephant or monkey or whatever it was that made these two so happy!

Another cheesy moment for these three sweethearts. J and K love it when Sarah can hang out with us.

"Say what?!?"

Monkey see, monkey do!
From back to front..."whachu talkin' 'bout?"
"Are we done yet? My cheeks are killing me!"
"I'm smilin'! She said smile, so I'm smilin'!"

And more!!!
My wittle, tiny baby girl was sooooo sicky, wicky that all she felt like doing was laying on the couch, watching TV, and laying on the couch. Fortunately, when I couldn't snuggie her, she had Jazz to keep her company.
