Ultrasound

Our first ultrasound was today. Here are the results. This is the profile of the 18 week baby. I think the baby looks like daddy, don't you? *grin*

Aren't those feet adorable? Amazing isn't it? Yes, both the technology to see this human being inside me as well as the Creator's marvelous plan to create a perfect being that weighs in at 10 oz. at this moment, yet has everything needed to be a person. The baby's heart, lungs, stomach, bladder, brain, spine, and everything look good.
And here is the face. The face (looking right at you) is on the right upper side of the pic. The belly is the round thing on the left. Yes, definitely resembles the dad. Again, I am stunned at such a miracle growing inside me. And so very thankful for the blessing of being able to carry a baby to give back to God for His divine plan. We are so thankful for our first two and look forward to getting to know this one also.

And now....for the moment you've all been waiting for....(drum roll please) Yes, in fact those are the two legs and nothing of significance in between (well, nothing sticking out at least) So we are having a little GIRL. The technician said she was 99.9% sure of this. It seemed pretty clear to us. So you are getting to have your first peek at the little baby's bottom.

Please keep us in your prayers and pray for little girl Thomas. Janelle was ecstatic that she is going to have a little sister. Keljan was a bit upset. He seemed to really want a brother, but he adjusted fairly quickly. Good thing I suppose since there isn't much he can do about it at this point. I don't think Santa can make that change even with his special magic.

We love you already baby girl.
