Our neighbor, Hannah, played with us a few days this week. We enjoyed having her as you can see. The kids LOVED playing with someone new. The dad also seems to have adjusted to the new addition quite well. Boy are we thankful we bought the "daddy chair." That thing is awesome.
Janelle really enjoyed practicing her mothering skills for the new baby. Janelle was truly a great help. She entertained Hannah, fed her at lunch, and wanted to do everything possible to assist in the "care of" process. She will be a terrific help when the new baby arrives.
And we were just happy that Keljan didn't sit on her or anything. He read and played fairly well...for the most part. He did have his jealous moments, but it was great practice for him to share his sissie. We are hoping to "borrow" Hannah a few more times before our own baby arrives to give Keljan some more practice with the whole "new kid on the block" thing.
