We made it! ALL the way! The kids were doing so well we decided to drive a bit past Tuscaloosa (our original stopping place). Once we made it to Birmingham, it seemed silly to spend the night with only three hours to go. We let the kids decide and they wanted to see Grandmommy and Poppy badly. They were excited and made it the rest of the way. Of course, a Veggie Tales and a few songs made the trip bearable. We had a fun time. The Grandparents were excited to see them too. Eight states in 4 days is not too bad if one asks me. Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee. WOW!
