Food, Rocks, and Paint

Baby K's first food. He was not too sure about it, but decided he would live and eventually ate...a little! At 7 months, he still prefers to nurse. He is starting to realize that stuff is not too bad (unless I try to sneak in some of the dreaded "green" kind. He definitely prefers the fruits...smart kid!)

The big cousins watched our three older sweeties so we could go to dinner with my sis and her hubby. Our sweeties were fed their favorite...ramen noodles and then dressed appropriately for a fun craft!
Plastic bag aprons and rocks ready to paint.
K made a dinosaur...big surprise! Ha!
Baby J made a pretty scene with water.
J made a cat.
And since Baby K did not stay with them, Cousin JP made a baby for him.
Juju decided to paint the paper since she did not have her own rock.
Finished product. Funny story. A friend of Grandmommy's was asking the kids about each of his/her paintings upon viewing the rocks. She talked to K about his dino. She told J her cat was adorable. She really like JP's 'baby' rock for Baby K. And then she asked Baby J, "What is yours? Is that water?" Baby J emphatically answered, "No, it's paint!" I guess she thought it was obvious that the rock was not painted with water, but indeed had been painted with paint. Oh, the funny things they say!!
