The beautifully set table which J worked so hard to create. Chocolate chip cookies, heart sugar cookies, and red-velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing are a perfect compliment to tea time (or strawberry kool-aid if you are between 2 and 7 years old).It's tea time for Valentine's Day!! An early party with a few friends made for a very special celebration. J's friends and the "man" who had to stay home to "protect" us! *grin* Wait until you see his protection techniques. hehehe

First, we have to decorate the cupcakes!
A little icing (or in some cases, a LOT ! -- that would be MY children).
A little "coloring" completes the cupcakes.
Don't forget the sprinkles.

THIS is the "man" protecting us! Or going in for the kill some might call it! He certainly enjoyed his cupcake. BEFORE we were supposed to eat...utensils are optional!

Ahem! You mean there were cupcakes, tea, and Kool-aid being thrown around across the street and we were nowhere to be found! Well, I never! Humph! OK ok, to be fair it was probably in everyone's best interest that Hannah and I were not invited. . .a certain someone probably would've made a gigantic mess. . .and Hannah would have been so embarrassed that her mommy is so messy! :) ha ha
